AutoDesk vient d'annoncer la sortie de la version 5.7.1 de Stitcher Unlimited en version anglaise, française, allemande ou japonaise.

Les nouveautés portent sur :
- includes "Double Shot" (DS) feature. Users can now natively stitch images taken with a "2-shot fisheye lens".
- tripod cap now also natively included. Your chosen image is automatically aligned at the bottom center of your panorama to hide the tripod.
- GPU accelerator increases rendering speeds and optimizes the display of images in real-time in the main work screen.
- switch between a 2D and 3D preview with just a simple double click.
- ability to define the rendering area of your panorama quickly and with precision.
- new user interface enables you to manage your images and workflow with even greater speed and efficiency.

New pricing policy for AutoDesk Stitcher Unliited 5.7.1
- price for full versions of Stitcher Unlimited is now US$350 ! (previously US$580 )
- get your Stitcher Unlimited 5.7.1 upgrade now for only US$90 instead of US$180 ! This price is valid for an upgrade from any previous Stitcher Unlimited or Stitcher Pro version. Don't miss this opportunity!
- if you are an owner of Stitcher 5.7 version already (bought on-line from May 20th 2008), the new 5.7.1 version is free for you ! Please send an email to jeff.pouliquen@autodesk.com to request your download link for this latest version.
- education versions are also available for educational institutions (schools, universities), academic research centers, and their representatives (teachers, professors, scientists) : get one copy for US$175 or ten copies for US$350. Upgrades are also available for $90 for owners of former education versions of Stitcher Unlimited. Education versions are full versions of the software, but are limited to non-commercial use.
